Spurenstoffe und Krankheitserreger im Wasserkreislauf (SUK 2023)
From March 27 to March 28, 2023 DECHEMA-Haus, Frankfurt am Main
Trace substances / emerging pollutants, pathogens and antimicrobial resistance are topics that concern water management in all its sectors. The material aspects are manifold and range, for example, from pharmaceutical residues to fluorinated substances. On the hygienic side, the handling of findings on antimicrobial resistance is of increasing importance. The monitoring of the SARS-CoV2 virus in municipal wastewater opens up new perspectives for wastewater monitoring.
On the material as well as on the hygienic side, an increasing gain in knowledge and new approaches to solutions for water management practice go hand in hand. Both already support a sustainable water use in the municipal, industrial and agricultural sector and show perspectives for further challenges like the agricultural water reuse, the handling of increasing use competitions as well as the implementation of trace substance strategy and national water strategy.
The aim of the symposium is to discuss perspectives, to improve the state of knowledge and to promote the exchange of experiences in research and practice. We invite water users, science, planners, authorities, technology providers and all stakeholders involved in the implementation of solutions to participate in this exciting dialogue with presentations and posters.
And FlexTreat will be there!
